The Flexaust Flex-Tube FlexStat polyurethane duct hose, used for dust control, food preparation, and light bulk material handling applications, is a clear, static-dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane hose with an embedded, braided copper grounding wire, reinforced with a rigid black external ABS helix; it resists external abrasion, and is very flexible for easy manipulation. A temperature range of -40 to 200 degrees F makes it suitable for applications such as woodworking fume extraction and food preparation. The enclosed copper grounding wire reduces static build-up for bulk material handling and pneumatic conveying applications, and the smooth interior assures minimal friction loss and efficient air flow. This duct hose is clear for viewing inside, and is made from materials that conform to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Title 21 requirements for use in food-grade farms, food processing applications, and pharmaceuticals.Duct hoses are flexible or rigid tubes that convey gases, liquids, and lightweight bulk materials from one location to another.
