Waka Ama

Waka Ama is very popular at Auckland Girls Grammar. The sport’s strengths and attraction for many of its participants is its inclusiveness, accessibility, a firm grounding in Māori and Pacific culture and its focus on hauora (wellbeing). Each year AGGS enters into the Senior and Junior Regattas. There is a Senior Regatta that takes place in Term 1 and the Junior Regatta takes place in Term 4.
